From its humble beginning, Milestone Hospice, Inc. has grown as one of Southern California’s provider of hospice care and has cared for thousands of patients and their families and loved ones in the South Bay area and neighboring communities. We trace the roots to the mid 1990’s when hospice programs were gaining its recognition as part of the healthcare system. Our care encompasses all socio-economic and demographic groups. Our services are provided at the patient’s home, skilled nursing facilities, board and care, assisted living and extended care facility.

Hospice care can dramatically and positively impact quality of life. The goal is to empower the individual by providing knowledge and information to facilitate decision making. Our clinical staff are experts on pain control and symptom management. They are committed to education of patients and caregivers. Counseling and spiritual support is available to the patient as well as the family member.
Who Provides Care?
Care is delivered by a team of professionals who address the patient’s needs on medical, physical, emotional and spiritual levels. The team of the patient’s attending physician, Hospice Medical Director, Licenses Nurse, Medical Social Worker, Chaplain, Bereavement Services and trained Volunteers. Other services available are CHHA/Homemaker, dietician and therapist if appropriate.
Milestone Hospice’s mission is to provide the terminally ill patient and their loved ones with support and care they require to live their lives comfortably. Our Hospice team strives to enable the patient and family to maintain dignity and quality of life.
Our goal is to achieve physical, emotional and spiritual comfort. We strive to empower the patient and family by providing them with the tools, information, and support they need to make informed decisions. We provide ongoing support for family and friends for as long as needed.
